The Pride Center of Montclair, in partnership with celebrated Montclair-based photographer Veronica L. Yankowski, proudly invites you to experience Twenty Portraits of Trans Joy—a powerful photo exhibition honoring the lives, beauty, and resilience of 20 transgender individuals from our local community.
This inspiring collection is a vibrant tribute to visibility, self-expression, and the power of living authentically. At a time when the trans community are pushed to the margins, this exhibition centers their joy, pride, and community.
Join us in celebrating trans joy and standing together in love and solidarity.

If you're interested in learning the foundations of swing dance in a safe space that is welcoming, please join us for a 6 week beginner series of lessons! We will be teaching the skills you need to get out onto the dance floor with joy and confidence!
NO partner necessary! NO experience necessary!
Classes will take place weekly Mondays from 7 PM to 8PM, with an optional social dance to practice afterward from 8PM to 9 PM. Classes begin May 5 and end June 16 (No Class May 26 for Memorial Day).

Living Out Loud: Trans + Intersex Circle Support Group
Led by Leora Perlman, LCSW
Hosted by the Pride Center of Montclair, in collaboration with the Bearded Lady Rebellion Collective.
Looking for a space where your identity is seen, respected, and celebrated? Living Out Loud is a support circle for trans and intersex adults (18+) seeking community, connection, and care in a welcoming, affirming environment.
Held in a private community room of First Lutheran Church in Montclair, this group offers a space to share experiences, reflect, and heal—together. Whether you’re navigating your journey, exploring your truth, or simply looking to be in community, you are welcome here.
Facilitated by Leora Perlman, a licensed clinical social worker and longtime practitioner in trans-affirming care, Living Out Loud centers voices across the trans and intersex spectrum with warmth, compassion, and respect. As a queer, gender fluid person, Leora brings nearly two decades of experience creating spaces for people to be witnessed, affirmed, and empowered.
This group is free and open to all trans and intersex adults 18 and older.
